What is it?
Android application written in Kotlin. The chat feed automatically fetches information from an API and responds to specific commands, modifying the behavior.
Can I try it?
Of course! The project can be downloaded from GitHub and built with Android Studio.
When?
Early 2023. Due to the size of the project, I had about five days dedicated to it.
Biggest challenge?
Honestly, it was the scope. Cramming the entire project into just 5 days, completing the specifications and showcasing an entire Android architecture setup was tough.
Why?
Android programming challenge when applying to Genesys. Ultimately I accepted a different offer but I am proud of the end result. :)
Best parts?
I am really proud of the chat’s mediator and polling engine turned out to be. It’s straight to the point, easy to read, and fits perfectly into the architecture of the app.
